Southern California to remain in lockdown as area hospitals struggle with COVID-19 surge

L.A. County has issued a mandatory 10-day quarantine order for anyone who has traveled outside the county. — NBC Los Angeles

Southern California will remain in the current lockdown for at least another month due to the state of intensive care unit capacity in the region. Half of all the hospital beds in L.A. County are filled with COVID-19 patients. — Eater Los Angeles, NBC Los Angeles

The L.A. County Department of Public Health issued more than 600 citations to businesses, churches and other establishments that violated virus precautions. Some restaurants and churches have been cited upwards of 13 times. — CBS Los Angeles
