Inspired by the culture for the culture, the second annual “Rock The Bells Cruise: A Hip-Hop Experience,” is planning to set sail Nov. 13-17 from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau, Bahamas for five days of immersion.

The initial wave of artists includes Jadakiss, E-40, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Digable Planets and AZ, along with a cast of DJs that set the tone for the inaugural cruise, including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri, Mannie Fresh and Rock The Bells Radio’s own The Finisher Mister Cee, DJ Scratch and DJ Epps. Roxanne Shante and Torae will return as hosts.

Every corner aboard the Norwegian Gem will be utilized with themed parties, meet-and-greet autograph sessions, rap karaoke, open mic nights, and much more focusing on content, commerce and experiences that honor the culture and the core elements of hip-hop — MCs, DJs, breakers, graffiti artists — and more.

Founded in 2018 by LL Cool J, Rock The Bells is the bridge between OGs and those inspired by their groundbreaking influences. For additional information on the cabins, now on sale to the public, visit rockthebellscruise.com.

INSPIRATION: “[It] speaks to the strength and resilience of women who have endured hardships and have come out of the fire victorious and unstoppable. I remember how they overcame the impossible and survived because they were determined to be there for their families. Standing on their shoulders, I carry on. I close my eyes and see the faces of every woman in history who turned weeds into leaves of evergreen. They stand taller than the mountains. If they can do it, I can do it. Bad times make strong women. This is my mantra.” – Grammy winner JUDITH HILL paying tribute to the sacrifice and fight of the powerful women who raised her in the new single and video “Dame de la Lumière,” from her upcoming album “Letters from a Black Widow”

END QUOTE: “Four hundred years of forced labor and never receiving any compensation for it. Now you have the gall to try and prosecute and charge taxes to the descendants of a broken people that you are responsible for causing the breakage. … In truth, the entire United States should, by default, become the property of the descendants of slaves. But since you do not have the ability [or] the courage to do it, let’s try this in court. … We’re gonna bring you down.” – TERRENCE HOWARD prior to being ordered to pay $1 million in back taxes
