“Legacy of Life Lessons,” by Precedere Wilson, is an insightful and reflective book that emphasizes the importance of sharing life lessons, especially to future generations.
“I believe writing this book is a part of my life’s legacy,” Wilson said. “I was born to share the lessons I have learned with others.”
“Legacy of Life Lessons” consists of 10 chapters that chronicle lessons Wilson has gained during her life’s journey. The author felt a deep calling to leave a lasting impact on the lives of others, and creating a book allowed her to do just that.
“I was not privy to much of that by my ancestors,” Wilson said. “I felt I needed to change that narrative for my family.”
Inside the book, Wilson shares lessons that testify to the importance of recognizing your purpose in life, embracing your true self, being mindful of the people you encounter, finding Christ, empowering others and more. At the end of the book, Wilson includes a prayer for salvation and blank pages for readers to journal about their own life lessons.
“I always felt the burning within myself to win souls for Christ, but I never really knew how to do it,” Wilson said. “This is something that God gave me specifically to use as a tool I believe in the Earth to win souls.”
One of Wilson’s favorite chapters in the book is, “Clap for Others.”
“In it, we are encouraged to appreciate the gifts and talents of others,” said the author.
“Legacy of Life Lessons” is intended for a wide audience that includes both the younger and older generations.
“We all learn from each other no matter the age or affiliation,” Wilson said. “I would like for my readers to gain a passion for helping others and be ignited with a love for God.”
In addition to being an author, Wilson is an accountant for the National Training Center in Ft. Irwin, California. She is based in Apple Valley. To connect with the author, visit her on social media via Instagram @zedetae00.
