Governor proposes doubling tax credit for film shoots
Gov. Gavin Newsom came to Hollywood Oct. 27 to announce a proposal to double the tax credit the state offers for to producers of films and TV shows that shoot in California. The plan, which needs approval from the state Legislature, could take effect as early as next July.
