Music icon Stevie Wonder is lending his name and support to the #SpeakYourVote movement by issuing an invitation to creatives to record their short video clips to express what voting means to them. The campaign hopes to inspire millions of young people to get registered, get informed and get to the polls.
BILL VAUGHAN’S TASTY CLIPS: Juanita Moore to finally star on Walk of Fame
Actress Juanita Moore, who was nominated for an Academy Awards for her role as Black housekeeper Annie Johnson in the 1959 remake of ‘Imitation of Life,’ will be honored posthumously with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Oct. 18. Margaret Avery, Jayne Kennedy, Debbie Allen and film critic Leonard Maltin will speak at the ceremony.
