HOLLYWOOD — The Hollywood American Legion Post No. 43 hosts nightly screenings for up to 30 cars at its new drive-in theater at 2035 N. Highland Ave. Films are projected on a 38-foot screen while sound is broadcast via FM radio. Tickets are $65-$80 per vehicle (four occupants max) and include popcorn, candy and soda. Pumpkin Patch

HOLLYWOOD — Mr. Jack O’Lanterns Pumpkin Patch is open at 1841 N. Highland Ave. through Oct. 31. Families can shop for pumpkins of all sizes, get creative at the decorating station, or pose at seasonal photo ops. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The Black Flour Crepes Food Truck will be on hand from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16 from 3-8 p.m., serving sweet buckwheat crepes. Customers must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

HOLLYWOOD — The John Anson Ford Theatre’s digital festivals are curated online programs that highlight various communities. Up next is “Living Resistance,” which explores holistic health and wellness through community farming, food justice and movement from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 17. The program includes workshops from herbalist La Loba Loca and People’s Yoga co-founder Leah Gallegos, recipes from Todo Verde founder Jocelyn Ramírez, a Bomba dance performance from Taller Bula, poetry from “Hermosa” author Yesika Salgado, a sound bath from Graciela Zapata and a body-based offering from Dancing Diaspora Collective member Erica Rey.

Ramírez also will host a panel conversation on healing the mind, body and spirit with culinary anthropologist Claudia Serrato, trauma therapist and founder of Latinx Therapy Adriana Alejandre and medicine maker for Ojos de La Sol Dania Cabello.

WEST HOLLYWOOD — Through October, the city of West Hollywood will feature #ArtfulDistancing as a way to safely engage with art during the pandemic. Over a dozen artists will participate through pop-up performances, temporary installations and virtual exhibits and performances.
