More than 70 local businesses were issued citations by L.A. County for violating COVID-19 guidelines. — KTLA

California has passed 800,000 coronavirus cases, making it the state with the highest number in the nation. Accounting for population proportion, California has 12% of the country’s population and 11% of its COVID-19 cases. — L.A. Times
