BILL VAUGHAN’S TASTY CLIPS: Stevie Wonder to headline benefit concert for fire victims

Fire Aid, the benefit concert announced last week to provide funds to support Los Angeles communities affected by the wildfires, has released the official line-ups for the dual Jan. 30 shows with tickets now on sale at Ticketmaster. 

Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lil Baby, Sting, Jelly Roll, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Gracie Abrams and Tate McRae are playing Intuit Dome beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Kia Forum will host a 6 p.m. show featuring Anderson. Paak, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joni Mitchell, Dave Matthews & John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Alanis Morissette, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, The Black Crowes and the reunion of No Doubt. 

Fans at each event will be able to view the other on screens inside the venues. In addition, the concerts will be broadcast by Apple Music and the Apple TV App, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Veeps, YouTube and select AMC Theaters. 

AT THE MOVIES: In this latest cinema presentation in “The Met: Live in HD“ series, phenomenal soprano Angel Blue makes her long-awaited company role debut as the Ethiopian princess torn between love and country in “Aida,” one of opera’s defining roles.

STAR SHINE: She was one of Broadway’s original “Dreamgirls” who after a long career in film and television earned an Emmy for her role on ABC’s smash sitcom “Abbott Elementary.” Now Sheryl Lee Ralph is going to get her deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is happening on Jan. 29.
