At the beginning of the pandemic David came across a picture of a woman on Instagram that he was certain he had seen before.
As the pandemic spread, his identity becomes awakened and he realizes his mission is to unite the nations of Abraham and bring about heaven on Earth. Humanity is on the brink of the next great leap in evolution and the time has come to awaken the gods.
Will David be able to tell the most human story of all? Will he find strength to come to terms with who he is?
Find out in the time-traveling romance “Love Letters to the Virgin Mary: The Resurrection of King David,” by David Richards.
The concept for his book was born following a post on social media.
“This book was inspired by a picture of a woman I saw on Instagram three years ago,” Richards said. “It was a transcendent, beautiful picture; I created the story because I wanted to make sense of the beauty I saw in that picture, and what it said about me.”
“Love Letters to the Virgin Mary” will be enjoyed by readers who enjoy romance, history and films.
“It’s really this kind of time-traveling story of consciousness and that’s what makes it sort of universal to everyone,” Richards said.
In the book, King David embarks on an incredible journey that highlights one’s purpose, expectations of love and more.
“Part of the journey that David undergoes in the story is how to bring Judaism, Christianity and Islam together into one story and make it a love story,” said Richards, “and I feel like he accomplished that.”
Richards hopes his book proves to be motivational and to serve as a call to action for readers.
“I hope readers will take stock of their own imagination and realize they can take the lead role in their own life…,” Richards said. “The journey to become the hero or heroine of your own story is the greatest journey any one of us can take. I promise you it’s worth every step.”
In addition to being an author Richards is a Marine veteran and speaker. He is based outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. For more information about the author and his work, visit davidrichardsauthor.com.
