WEST HOLLYWOOD — The city will begin its 2021 WeHo Live Virtual Friday Happy Hour music series July 2 at 6 p.m. and will continue on Fridays through Sept. 24.
The series will feature different disc jockeys each week, each with their own style.
DJ Asha, who has performed throughout Europe, will headline the series opener, spinning a selection of party anthems, dance music and top 40 songs.
The second DJ in the WeHo Live series will be DJ Mamabear July 9. Mamabear is the hostess of the Honey Pot on Dublab radio and a member of the illustrious Sweaterfunk crew, San Francisco’s finest purveyors of 1980s boogie on vinyl. She will be spinning a selection of funk, soul and dance music.
On July 23, West Hollywood resident Casey Alva will spin the music. Alva is the 20-year resident DJ at The Abbey and also has toured the world.
DJ Trauma headlines the July 30 show. He is currently on tour with comedian Dave Chappelle.
Other shows include: Sloan & Sinclair Aug 6, DJ Phatrick Aug. 13, Sindri Aug. 27, DJ Dazzler Sept. 3, Kid Enzo Music Sept. 10 and d. painter Sept. 24.

The series is organized by the city’s Arts Division, which delivers a broad array of arts programs throughout the year.
